Our popular networking event, Social Enterprise Mentor, celebrated 1 year of bringing social enterprises in Birmingham together to network and collaborate. The networking event started in February 2010 and has grown over the last 12 months to become Birmingham’s number one monthly networking event supporting the development of social enterprise in Birmingham and the wider region…with attendees coming from as far as Manchester and Reading!
In the last year Social Enterprise Mentor has attracted almost 3000 visits to the website, gained 79 fans on Facebook and picked up almost 200 Twitter followers, as well as, helping many businesses to start up, develop partnerships and gain contracts.
Over 25 people came to celebrate Social Enterprise Mentor’s first birthday with new and regular attendees taking advantage of the chance to chat over coffee and lovely birthday cupcakes! See the photos of the event here.
